4K 120p Upgrade License
You can add the ability to shoot videos at 120p high-frame-rate in 4K. Slow motion in 4K can be up to 5 times slower and is exceptionally smooth, allowing you to create impressive visual expressions.
- In the case of QFHD (3840×2160), approximately 10% of the angle of view will be cropped from the picture. The actual frame rate is 119.88 fps.
- Shooting in S&Q mode and post-production editing are required.
- The ZV-E1 can add 4K 120p/100p recording to its movie recording mode and 4K 120fps and Full-HD 240fps recording to its S&Q (slow-motion/quick-motion) recording mode.
- 4K 120p recording is available only with Long GOP inter-frame compression.

DCI 4K / 24.00p Upgrade License
You can add the ability to shoot videos at DCI 4K, the standard for digital cinema. This allows you capture cinematic shots at a resolution of 4096×2160, which is wider than 4K (QFHD: 3840×2160), and select a frame rate of 24.00p.
- When 24.00p is selected, proxy video recording is not possible. In addition, the camera will reboot when you select 24.00p or switch from 24.00p to a different frame rate.
