Upload photos and videos to your smartphone or the cloud

Wired/wireless transfer from your camera to your smartphone

Huge image data such as high image quality photos and videos are able to be transferred to a smartphone both via Wi-Fi and USB cable. A wired connection provides more stable transfer.

High-speed communication is available when the camera, smartphone and USB cable conform to USB 3.2 specifications.

Transfer to mobile device while shooting

Shooting is possible while transferring captured photos and videos to a smartphone or tablet. You can continue shooting with confidence that you won’t miss an unmissable moment, even if one happens during transmission.

Record scenes as Motion Photo

Save memorable scenes as Motion Photo, capturing not only still images but also movement and atmosphere that photos alone cannot convey. Using Shot Marks on the camera, you can extract scenes from video in high quality and transfer them to your smartphone. You can choose a 3-second clip that can be saved as a Motion Photo, or select 15-, 30-, or 60-second clips depending on the scene. Choose the appropriate length for each situation and easily review or share your clips after transfer.

Support for mobile transfer interruption, resumption, and differential transfer

Transfer to a smartphone can be resumed if it is interrupted. It is also possible to transfer only the differences that have not yet been transferred, or to add extra footage to be transferred during the transfer process, increasing the workflow efficiency of transfer to smartphones.

Preview video clips before transfer

Before transferring video clips from your camera to your smartphone, you can preview them on your smartphone to get an overview of the video content. Select only the video clips you need and transfer them to your smartphone.

Use your smartphone as a remote control for your camera

Control your camera remotely from a smartphone

By linking your smartphone to cameras, you can control them remotely from the smartphone. This enables remote shooting, which may be useful for group shots or keeping cameras still in night scenes. You can also easily check camera battery and media information, set the date, time, or camera name, and more from a smartphone.

Update your supported camera to the latest software

You can perform software updates for supported cameras through a smartphone without using a PC.

This function is not available on cameras that support Creators' App but have not yet had a software update.
Depending on the software version of your supported camera, you may need to update the software using a PC. For details please check the web pages for each product.

Explore Creative Look customized by creators from around the world. Select a look in Creators' App and add it to your camera. Then start shooting right away with it.

Import a LUT file to your camera via your smartphone

LUT files (the LOOK profile of a video) stored in the cloud storage (Creators' Cloud) can be imported to the camera via smartphone without using any PC and SD card.

LUT files must be uploaded to Sony's cloud service (Creators' Cloud) from a PC or tablet beforehand.
